RESPIRATORY CLINIC

Our aim in running the Respiratory Clinic here at UTHSAC is to provide education & support to our community regarding the management of their chronic condition of SHORT WIND (asthma) or any other respiratory problem in a place where they feel comfortable & how it is explained is easily understood. 

Who gets asthma and why?

Asthma affects people of all ages. Some people get asthma when they are young; others when they are older. The causes are not fully understood, although people with asthma often have a family history of asthma, eczema and hay fever (allergic rhinitis).
