Program Description

The child and maternal health clinic is for babies and children from birth to 4 years. The clinic provides growth- weight- development checks, breast feeding support, how to start solid foods, what are good foods for babies and children, immunisation and referral for a hearing check.

Services include:

For children from birth – 4 years, we provide:

Ø  Child immunisation

Ø  Development Checks (growth and Physical development)

Ø  Education on breastfeeding, starting solid foods & nutritional education and support for young mothers and children

Ø  Hearing referrals to SA hearing
